Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to plan and enjoy a trip with us. This page covers both our website and the boat itself.

On the boat

Here is what we know for sure:

  • There is a restroom on board.
  • The deck is open-air with full shade.
  • The reef is viewed through glass windows, so no swimming or snorkeling is involved.
  • We board at a commercial marina dock at World Wide Sportsman Bayside Marina.

We are gathering exact boarding details (steps, gangway and doorway widths, restroom layout) and will publish them here. Until then, please call before you book so we can talk through your group’s needs. Useful things to ask about:

  • How boarding works at the dock, and whether there are steps
  • Whether a wheelchair or mobility device can stay with you on board, or whether a transfer is needed
  • Where you can sit for the best view of the windows
  • Service animals

On this website

We design and test this site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. That includes keyboard access, visible focus, readable contrast, text that resizes, descriptive image text and pages that work at 320 pixels wide. We have not claimed full conformance: testing is ongoing, and we fix problems as we find them.

Booking

Bookings run through FareHarbor, a separate company. Our “Check availability” buttons are ordinary links that open FareHarbor’s booking page, or an overlay on larger screens. FareHarbor publishes its own accessibility statement, and its booking pages need JavaScript. If anything gets in your way, call us and we will book for you by phone.

Tell us about a problem

If something on this site does not work for you, please tell us: call (305) 214-5277 or email info@glassbottomtour.com with the page and what happened. We will get back to you.
